About the department
The Department of Mental Health Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing) prepares students to assess mental health needs and deliver holistic, recovery-oriented care. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic relationships, psychoeducation, and ethical, dignified support for individuals and families.

To prepare competent mental health nursing professionals who contribute to preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and promotive mental health services.
